Dr. Adam Hartman Explains Rasmussen's Syndrome

Rasmussen's syndrome is an autoimmune disorder leading to inflammation in one hemisphere of the brain.The damage to the brain is irreversible. Seizures are a common symptom.

In this interview, Adam Hartman, MD, Director of the Center for Pediatric Rasmussen Syndrome at Johns Hopkins Medicine explains this condition and some of the studies being conducted at Johns Hopkins to improve our understanding of Rasmussen's syndrome.
