Five Topicals Commonly Used By Patients With Epidermolysis Bullosa

Amy Paller, MD, clinician at the Lurie's Children Hosptial of Chicago and chair, department of dermatology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine recently spoke at the Debra Patient Care Conference. In this video, Dr Paller lists the five main topical creams that are commonly used by patients with epidermolysis bullosa (EB).

The five are:

1, Cocunut oil
2. Medical grade honey
3. Silver
4. Keragel T
5. SD-101 (Zorblisa)

EB or 'the worst disease you've never heard of' is a group of rare skin disorders that manifest as blistering or erosion of the skin.
