Brain Cancer Runner Day 2 of 7 Day World Marathon

JANUARY 23, 2017
James Radke
This week, 47-year-old BethAnn Telford is running 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days.
In 2005, BethAnn was diagnosed with brain cancer and is running the marathons while still having cancer cells in her body.
As the week progresses, we will provide you with updates on her run. So far, she is running in the middle of the pack. Not bad for a 47-year old with Brain Cancer.

Pledge per Mile

Since her 2005 diagnosis, BethAnn has helped raise more than $835,000 for brain cancer research. With the 7 continent marathon run, she hopes to pass the $1,000,000 mark. To do that, she needs to raise $185,000 (or $900 per mile).
BethAnn is running for Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure (ABC2) which is a non-profit organization started by AOL co-founder Steve Case, that is investing in research aimed at finding the fastest possible route to cure brain cancer. Many brain cancer patients are children.
