Josh Brolin Is Having Fun Helping the Rare Disease Community

JULY 27, 2017

Josh Brolin is enjoying himself while raising money for epidermolysis bullosa (EB) and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; all while getting in shape and selling clothes.
The Avengers: Infinity War and No Country for Old Men actor, known best for his rugged good looks and serious roles, has recently shown off his lighter side on social media with pictures of himself with his wife as they promote their new line of apparel, Prevail Active Wear.
On his Instagram account (@joshbrolin) Brolin wrote that proceeds from the clothing sales (available August 1st) will go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation (EBRMF), 2 charities that ‘walk their talk’.
In one post, Brolin joked that the new apparel “induces total insanity, enables you to talk in tongues, and uber-familiarizes you with your package. Our goal is to live in the gym, never leave, consume only from shaker bottles, and pose in front of a myriad of mirrors until we melt from narcissism gigantica. Our hope is that we sell everything so we'll be left with nothing to wear.”

EBMRF was established in 1991 by Gary & Lynn Fechser Anderson, who lost 2 children, Chuck and Christine, to Epidermolysis Bullosa. Many in the entertainment community donate their time to EBMRF, including their annual ROCK4EB event that brings musicians like Sting, the late Chris Cornell, Ed Sheeran, Eddie Vedder and others to raise awareness and funds for the non-profit organization. Actors Adam Sandler, Brad Pitt, Zach Galifianakis, and others are regularly involved in their fundraiser.
