Canada's Fragmented System for Orphan Drugs

NOVEMBER 01, 2016
Brad Crittenden

Brad Crittenden, president of the Canadian Association of Pompe talks about the current regional systems that are set up to dispense orphan drugs to Canadians and why this fragmented system is one of the reasons why the country needs an Orphan Drug Framework at the national level.

This subject will likely be a main topic of conversation at next week's Canadian Expert Patient in Health Technology Conference being held in Toronto and hosted by the Canadian Organization of Rare Disorders.
