For Rare Disease Day on Feb. 28, NORD will be co-hosting a tweetchat with ABC News on the topic of rare diseases. Everyone is encouraged to participate.
The chat will feature ABC News’ Dr. Richard Besser, Chief of the ABC News Medical/Health Unit, as the moderator. NORD’s genetic counselor and medical editor, Marsha Lanes, MS, CGC, will answer questions. In addition, this year's chat in collaboration with Medscape, the leading online destination for physicians and healthcare professionals worldwide. The tweetchat is an opportunity for everyone to come together, ask questions, get answers, and raise important awareness.
