We're Not Gonna Take It: Making Pediatric Cancers Disappear

SEPTEMBER 02, 2016
RDR Staff
Magic is simply changing a person’s perception of reality.  The same can also be said for a cancer diagnosis. It changes the way you view the world and what really matters.

Magic and cancer will be the main topic at the upcoming HELP (heal every life possible) fundraiser being hosted by magician Criss Angel in Las Vegas on September 12, 2016.

Criss Angel and Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

Last year, Criss’ son was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). He is currently in remission but treatment is expected to continue for another 2 years.

With a new understanding of how rare pediatric cancers can disrupt a family, Criss is using his talent and resources to help raise awareness and funds to increase research towards pediatric cancers.

We're Not Gonna Take It

Below is a video directed by Criss in which Dee Snider sings an acoustic version of We’re Not Gonna Take It. The video was produced to raise awareness of the need for more pediatric cancer research. Enjoy.
